The AC Ace is a car from the British marque AC. Under Thames Ditton, AC wanted a new 2-litre car. It was designed by John Tojeiro as a convertible, who drew his inspiration from the Ferrari Barchetta. The new Ace restored AC’s good reputation after the Second World War. The first version had a top speed of 163 km/h and a 0–100 km/h sprint in 13 s. In 1956 AC introduced a new engine for the Ace, the Bristol, with a top speed of 186 km/h, 120 hp and a 0–100 km/h sprint in 9 s. This engine also gave the car much better handling.

The AC Ace we present here is a 1959 car, fitted with a 1991 cc 6-cylinder AC engine, fully overhauled by AC Ace specialist Rod Briggs. The body was restored by Maurice Labro and painted by Classic & Exclusive.

We built this car up completely technically, fitted all the electrics and gave it a beautiful interior.
