Commissioned by Nout Classic Cars, we made the entire interior to measure in this fantastic Jaguar XK 120 FHC.

History:

The Jaguar XK 120 was introduced in 1948 and immediately caused a stir. The XK 120 had a top speed of 120 miles per hour (about 200 kilometres per hour) and was the fastest production car available at that time. The XK 120 was styled by Jaguar boss and founder William Lyons. The bodywork displays an almost sculptural design, with restrained, assured, flowing lines and beautiful curves. The long bonnet and the elongated wing line are magnificent and give the XK 120 a highly dynamic appearance.

Alongside the XK 120, the new Jaguar XK straight-six engine was introduced, which over the following forty years, in ever-improved forms, would be found in every Jaguar model. The XK 120 was available in three variants: as a roadster, as a slightly roomier DHC (Drop Head Coupé), and as an FHC (Fixed Head Coupé) with a fixed steel roof. The XK 120 was built until 1954 and was succeeded by the XK 140.
